In a first for Marathi Cinema, Percept Pictures, India's first, premiere and the only fully integrated entertainment content creation, aggregation and distribution conglomerate, has taken on the distribution rights of ‘Mission Possible’ .
Directed by Pushkar Jog, ‘Mission Possible’ a big budget film by Marathi standards, treads a new path by offering a complete entertainer with action, emotions, style, voguish music, dance & romance all rolled into one, backed by an intriguing murder mystery. Something that’s not commonly seen in Marathi Cinema. The film attempts to enthuse the youth to watch Marathi Cinema by slick production values, modern sets, exotic locations with a touch of glamour. “Swapna Sha……” sung by Swapnil Bandodkar is the first Marathi song to be shot in scenic Ladakh.
Mission Possible is a film that is very different from the kind of films that we see nowadays in Marathi Cinema. The film has been given a fresh & youthful treatment & we are confident that this film would not only be well appreciated by the masses but also be a trend setter taking the Marathi Film Industry altogether to a new high’ Percept Pictures plans to market and distribute this film as the biggest Marathi language film till date. The release of this film will simultaneously cover all the belts of Maharashtra, CP Berar, Goa and Marathwada in Nizam circuit. Apart from directing & acting in the film, story & lyrics of the film have been penned by the multi talented Pushkar who has also sang his own songs in the Film.

दमदार, वेगवान 'मिशन पॉसिबल'
'मिशन पॉसिबल' म्हणजे सळसळत्या रक्ताच्या तरुण कलाकारांची छान जमलेली मैफल. अभिनय, निर्मिती, दिग्दर्शन आणि जोमदार पटकथा अशा सर्वच पातळ्यांवर ही मैफल फुललीय. विशेष म्हणजे हे असं विविधांगी मिश्रण एकाच कलाकारानं हाताळलंय. पुष्कर जोग यानं. खरंतर हे सगळंच 'वन मॅन मिशन' आहे. खुद्द पुष्करचं. तरुण कलाकारांचा मोठा सहभाग असल्यामुळे संपूर्ण चित्रपट जोशात आहे. चित्रपटात बॉलिवूडला ओलांडणारं संगीत आहे आणि अक्षरशः 'मिशन' प्रमाणेच कथानकात वेग आहे.
'मिशन पॉसिबल'ची कथा एक कॉलेजवर आधारित. यश (पुष्कर जोग) हा कॉलेजमध्ये अनेक कार्यक्रमांमध्ये सहज सहभागी होणारा विद्यार्थी. त्याच्या स्वप्नात एक सुंदरी येत असते. तो कॉलेजमध्ये त्या सुंदरीच्या शोधात असतो. त्यासाठी त्याने २७ मुलींना 'प्रपोज' केलेले असते. दुसरीकडे यशवर सई (सई ताम्हनकर) एकतर्फी प्रेम करत असते. तिच्या प्रेमाला तो प्रतिसाद देत नसतो. कॉलेजमध्ये पेपर फोडणारी व ड्रग विकणारी टोळी असल्याची माहिती सईमुळेच कळते. नेमक्या याचवेळी यशला स्वप्नात दर्शन देणारी पर्ल (मनीषा केळकर) कॉलेजमध्ये भेटते. यश तिच्यापुढे प्रेमाचा प्रस्ताव ठेवतो, पर्लही थोडेफार आढेवेढे घेत अखेर होकार देते. कॉलेजमध्ये नृत्य स्पर्धा असते, या स्पर्धेत मोठ्या रकमेचे बक्षीस ठेवलेले असते. यशचा ग्रुप मोठी मेहनत करून या स्पर्धेत उतरतो, स्पर्धेदरम्यान पर्लची हत्या होते. यशची मैत्रीण असल्यामुळे त्याच्यावर खूनाचा आरोप ठेवून तुरुंगात रवानगी होते. पर्लची हत्येमागचा खरा सूत्रधार कोण आहे, याचा शोध घेण्यासाठी यश आपले मित्र नितीन, मुकेश, सई व नीलची मदत घेतो. पर्ल नेमकी कोण असते, खुनाचा खरा सूत्रधार कोण असतो, यश स्वतःला निर्दोष सिद्ध करू शकतो का, ही उत्तरे देत चित्रपटाचा शेवट होतो.
होम प्रॉडक्शन असलेल्या पुष्कर जोगने सर्वच जबाबदाऱ्या पेलल्या आहेत. चित्रपटातील संगीत जोशपूर्ण आहे. नवोदित संगीतकार साई-पीयूष व गीतकार अमेय सावडकर यांची कामगिरी लक्षणीय. 'स्वप्न शा...' या गाण्याचे चित्रीकरण लडाखमध्ये करण्यात आले आहे. सई ताम्हनकर, मनीषा केळकर, निरंजन नामजोशी व आस्ताद काळे यांनी पुष्करला सुरेख साथ दिली आहे.
एक गोष्ट खटकणारी. कथानकाचा वेग. अतिशय वेगवान कथानकामुळे काहीवेळा हातून काहीतरी सुटून गेल्याची जाणिव नक्कीच होते. ही रुखरुख वाढली, तर त्याचा चित्रपटाच्या प्रेक्षकावर विपरीत परिणाम होण्याची शक्यताही आहेच. तरीही 'मिशन पॉसिबल'च्या रुपाने एक दमदार प्रयत्न पुष्करने केलाय, हे मान्य केले पाहिजे.
