This exhibition was organized & presented by Bharat Soka Gakki (BSG), the Indian affiliate of Soka GakkiInternational (SGI), a UN-recognized non-governmental organization with over 19 million members in190 countries & territories, that aims to promote the values of peace & respect for all people, throughthe tools of culture & education.

 The exhibition consisting of 30 panels, covers themes such as Barriers to peace, paths to peace, sharedvision of religions and life stories of peacemakers. It reignites hope in these strife-ridden times, as itfocuses on the power of each individual, especially children & youth, to contribute in the creation of eace. The exhibition highlights, through pictures & text, the need to solve these among individuals,groups & nations. The purpose of the exhibition is to leave the audience with the feeling that they can be protagonists in the drama of building a culture of peace.

An earlier version of this exhibition debuted at the annual world federation of the United Nations Associations, Barcelona in 2003. It was subsequently viewed at the annual club of Rome meeting in Amman, Jordan, Followed by a showing at the Graduate School of Education Library at Harvard in November 2007. In India too it has been viewed in many cities.
