MML-KalaRang

MML-KalaRang- a UK based cultural group which enjoys experimenting with various Performing Arts, resplendent with professional – level performances.

As much as the Indian community here is well served with performances from India, MML-KalaRang aims to create a base for the Arts in London relying on local talent exclusively.

Our initial focus is on the Maharashtrian culture, notably, Marathi theatre, dance and music. Our journey only began in the Ganeshotsav of 2012, but we created a ripple, with two professional- level performances in quick succession.

Founder Members

The success of these performances was so absolute that Maharashtra Mandal London invited us to join as their cultural arm. The success of these shows is attributed to a talented team of 60 artists, all of whom have different day jobs but pursue Arts as a way of life.

We would, however, like to make special mention of the founders of the Group. Delivering quality entertainment was the single most aim that brought these individuals together-

Namita Koranne- Architect and set designer
Anushree Modak- IT professional and choreographer
Aditi Tulpule- Solicitor and costume designer
Archana Bhakare- IT professional and actor
Amol Dhadphale- IT professional and music composer
Nikhil Koranne- IT professional and actor/director
Hrishi Lonkar- Accountant and actor/ director
Abhijit Mone- Solicitor and actor/ director

These founder members have been a very creative and energetic lot, constantly brimming with ideas! It is from these ideas that we have performed the following and have plan a few future projects-
